In this tour package you will be invited to tour one of the villages with a unique ethnic culture in Bali. Having a unique tradition in funerals, this place has become one of the most popular destinations in Bali.
In contrast to most Balinese people who cremate or bury corpses in this village, the bodies of the dead are simply placed under the taru menyan tree. Taru Menyan is believed to have the ability to neutralize the smell of carcasses, so that the typical aroma of carcasses cannot be smelled. This tradition has been going on since ancient times and is strictly guarded by the Trunyan people as their cultural heritage.
In this package you will be invited to visit the cemetery by boat, along the way you will cross the lake and witness very stunning views.
- Meet at the starting point.
- Departure: when departing to the destination by boat across Lake Batur which will take around 40 minutes.
- Arrive: after arriving at the Trunyan cemetery, tourists are given as much time as they like to look around and do documentation to immortalize their holiday moments.
- Finish: after feeling satisfied, tourists will be invited to return to the starting point using a boat and can enjoy the view of Lake Batur, and have completed this trip.
